What happens during the Beachbody LIVE Instructor Training?
The Beachbody LIVE Instructor Training is a comprehensive, one-day workshop led by Beachbody LIVE Master Trainers who combine hands-on instruction with expert practical advice on how to teach Beachbody LIVE classes.
You’ll begin the day practicing a pre-designed workout in your format (INSANITY, PiYo, etc) that can be modified to fit a 30-minute, 45-minute, or 55-minute class schedule. Then you’ll immerse yourself in a fun learning experience designed to provide you with the tools you need to be a successful Beachbody LIVE Instructor.

Plus, valuable skills for engaging and motivating participants, to create a sense of community within your Beachbody LIVE classes.Do I need a fitness certification or qualification to attend a Beachbody LIVE Instructor Training workshop?
No, you do not need an existing fitness certification or qualification to attend a workshop or become a Beachbody LIVE Instructor. If you plan to teach at a gym, check with that gym’s group exercise director to find out if they require any additional certifications or qualifications.Where can I teach my classes once I am trained?
As an active Beachbody LIVE Instructor, you can teach group exercise classes at any gym or facility—and you don’t have to pay licensing fees to promote your class. Many of our instructors teach at large or small gyms, community centers, churches, dance studios, universities, parks, recreation centers, or virtually any open space! You only need to provide your facility with Beachbody's —as long as they fully comply with these Advertising Guidelines, this gives them the license to hold Beachbody LIVE classes. Your Master Trainer can help you with ideas on how to get hired by gyms in your area or how to find other spaces for your classes.What materials will I receive to prepare me for my Instructor Training?
Once you register for an Instructor Training workshop, you’ll receive access to download a format-specific Instructor Manual. It's an interactive, illustrated manual complete with pictures of the moves, class formats for 55-, 45-, and 30-minute classes, exercise techniques, cueing methods, and more. This information is not available anywhere else. You’ll also receive a concise Training Outline that you can print and bring to your Instructor Training workshop for taking notes.How do I get continuing education credits for completing a Beachbody LIVE Instructor Training?
Upon successfully completing a Beachbody LIVE Instructor Training workshop, you will eligible for ACE, AFAA, canfitpro, and NASM credits. You may download your Beachbody LIVE Instructor Certificate from your account on BeachbodyLIVE.com to see the number of credits awarded to you. The credits may also be applicable toward other organizations where you hold certifications. Contact the specific organization to inquire about their reciprocity or petitioning policies.What if there are no workshop locations close to me?
Let us know you want training in your area! Please visit the Instructor Training Page and click on the "Request a Training" link. If we receive sufficient demand for a specific location, we will try to schedule a workshop there. Will I have to participate in any physical activities during a Beachbody LIVE Instructor Training workshop?
- Use the format name when advertising your class on gym schedules (PiYo LIVE, INSANITY LIVE, etc.)
- Use the format name when marketing yourself as a Beachbody LIVE Instructor (PiYo LIVE Instructor, INSANITY LIVE Instructor, etc.)
- Make yourself more marketable to a gym and potential clients by leveraging the recognition and goodwill of Beachbody’s popular fitness brands
- Post your class schedule on the Beachbody LIVE website
- Become a PRO Team member and receive even more great benefits including posters, flyers, and other marketing materials featuring Beachbody’s popular brands
Yes, there will be quite a bit of movement during the Instructor Training. This includes practicing, demonstrating, and cueing various exercise moves, along with learning a full class routine. If you have any physical limitations or injuries, please consult your physician before attending the Training.What if I cannot attend the full workshop session?
In order to become a Beachbody LIVE Instructor, you must attend and successfully complete the full one-day Instructor Training workshop with active participation, which is necessary in order to learn and demonstrate the skills required to receive a result of "Pass" and receive your active Beachbody LIVE Instructor status and Certificate. During the workshop, you will be required to participate in all activities, which will include a workout, practical activities, and Q&A sessions. You’ll also receive on-site feedback to help you safely and effectively lead Beachbody LIVE classes. If you do not attend the Instructor Training workshop in full, you will not receive your Beachbody LIVE Instructor Certificate.What should I bring with me to my Instructor Training workshop?
Bring your Training Outline or a pen and paper to take notes with. You’ll also want to bring a change of comfortable athletic clothing, snacks, water, and a great attitude! If you don't plan to purchase lunch, you should bring a meal with you as well. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that food and/or drinks will be available at each workshop location.Will food and drink be provided during the Instructor Training workshop?
No, food and drink are not included in your Instructor Training workshop purchase and we cannot guarantee that food and/or drinks will be available at each workshop location.Are hotel and/or airfare included with the purchase or enrollment in a Beachbody LIVE Instructor Training workshop?
No. If you are traveling to an Instructor Training workshop, you are solely responsible for all travel-related expenses, including transportation, meals, lodging, incidentals, and all other costs.Will I receive a receipt for my PRO Team membership payments?
No, you will not receive a a receipt for each monthly charge. Please contact Customer Service if you need a receipt for your PRO Team membership.What is the cancellation policy?
Should you wish to cancel a Beachbody LIVE Instructor Training workshop, you may be eligible to receive a refund as follows, subject to the fees below. For all cancellations, please contact us at 1 (888) 247-1940, from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM Pacific Time, Monday through Friday.
- Beachbody’s Cancellation of an Instructor Training. Beachbody may cancel an Instructor Training at any time and for any reason in its sole discretion. If Beachbody cancels an Instructor Training, You will be notified and, at Your election, Beachbody will either provide You with assistance in enrolling in an alternate Instructor Training, or issue You a refund.
Can I reschedule my Instructor Training?
- Your Cancellation of an Instructor Training. You may cancel Your enrollment in an Instructor Training at any time and may receive a refund, subject to the following terms:
- If You cancel fourteen (14) days or more before the scheduled date of Your Instructor Training, there will be a Twenty-Five Dollar ($25.00) cancellation fee.
- If You cancel less than fourteen (14) days before the scheduled date of Your Instructor Training, there will be a Fifty Dollar ($50.00) cancellation fee.
- If You do not attend Your scheduled Instructor Training and then cancel Your enrollment, there will be a Seventy-Five Dollar ($75.00) Cancellation Fee.
- No refunds will be given after You have participated in any part of an Instructor Training.
You may reschedule your attendance at an Instructor Training, subject to the following terms:
If I decide I no longer want to participate in a Beachbody LIVE Instructor Training workshop, can I transfer or give my reserved spot to someone else?
- You may reschedule an Instructor Training without charge if you do so at least fourteen (14) days in advance of your scheduled Instructor Training date.
- Rescheduling less than fourteen (14) days before your scheduled Instructor Training date will result in a Twenty-Five Dollar ($25.00) rescheduling fee.
- If you do not reschedule, and then miss your scheduled Instructor Training, but reschedule a new Instructor Training within thirty (30) days, you will be subject to a Fifty Dollar ($50.00) rescheduling fee per rescheduling. If you do not reschedule a missed Instructor Training within thirty (30) days, it will be deemed a cancellation and subject to a Seventy-Five Dollar ($75.00) cancellation fee.
No, your registered spot in a Beachbody LIVE Instructor Training workshop is not transferable to another individual. Only one Beachbody LIVE Instructor Training workshop per format should be purchased per account. This keeps our records organized and allows for a quicker confirmation of your registration, status, and certificate.What if the workshop I registered for gets cancelled?
If Beachbody LIVE cancels a scheduled workshop, we will contact all affected enrollees and let them know. At that time, you can call our Customer Service team at 1 (888) 247-1940 and enroll in a different workshop or request a refund.How long is my Beachbody LIVE Instructor status valid?
Your Beachbody LIVE Instructor status is valid for twelve (12) months from the date you successfully complete the Instructor Training workshop and become a Beachbody LIVE Instructor (the “Term”).
If you sign up for and become a PRO Team member before the Term expires, then your Instructor status will automatically extend beyond the Term and continue for as long as you maintain continuous enrollment in PRO Team. At the end of the Term (if you are not an existing PRO Team member), or when your PRO Team membership is cancelled, you will have to attend and successfully complete a new Beachbody LIVE Instructor Training workshop at the full price in order to remain an active Beachbody LIVE Instructor. Beachbody may, in its sole discretion: (a) change the duration of the Term, (b) define or modify the continuing education requirement, (c) increase or decrease any workshop and renewal fees, and/or (d) modify whether the PRO Team membership satisfies all or part of the continuing educational requirement or renewal fee.Is the Beachbody LIVE Instructor Training workshop available in other languages?
Currently, the Beachbody LIVE Instructor Training workshop is only taught in English with the exception of limited French language trainings in Quebec, Canada.What is the difference between a virtual vs. standard workshop?
Rather than taking place at a physical location, virtual trainings are conducted by a live Master Trainer via an online video conferencing application called 'Zoom'. As an attendee of a virtual training you'll receive the same level of instruction as you would in a standard workshop, and be granted the same content and materials. Graduates of virtual trainings receive the same accreditations as standard workshop graduates, and have the same eligibility for PRO Team and other site content.What is Zoom?
Zoom is a free online video conferencing application which we use to host our Virtual Trainings.How do I use Zoom?
You can download the free desktop application here: https://zoom.us/download. You do not need to have an account in order to attend a meeting.
On the day of your training:
- Copy and paste the Zoom link that was provided in your order confirmation email into any browser window.
- Click the option to ‘Open in Zoom Meetings’ when prompted in your browser window. This will automatically open the Zoom application.
- Once you’re in the meeting select the option to join via Computer Audio.
- Note: We recommend testing your video and audio settings prior to the day of the workshop to avoid any issues. To do so, copy and paste the Zoom link into your browser and join the meeting. Next click the button that says ‘Test Computer Audio’. This will take you to a screen where you can test both your audio and video settings.

Currently, Beachbody LIVE Instructor Training is only offered in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, although we do have plans to expand to new territories in the future. If you live outside the United States, Canada, or the United Kingdom and are interested in becoming a Beachbody LIVE Instructor, you can sign up online and attend a training in one of those countries, but you must have a valid shipping and billing address within that country as well as a valid credit card. Please note that the Beachbody LIVE website may not be accessible from outside the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Please note that workshops in the U.S. and Canada are displayed only if you are visiting the Beachbody LIVE website using an IP address located within the U.S. or Canada, while workshops in the United Kingdom are displayed only if your IP address is located in the United Kingdom.What is Beachbody LIVE Instructor of the Year?

How do I become a PRO Team member?
Once you successfully complete an Instructor Training workshop and receive your Beachbody LIVE Instructor Certificate, you’ll have the option to join PRO Team and gain access to exclusive content each month. You can sign up for PRO Team at BeachbodyLIVE.com after you log in.When are PRO Team Rounds and Bonus Blocks released?
New Rounds with the latest music and moves are released every other month according to the schedule below. Bonus Blocks with extra choreography are released one month after the Round.

For Windows computers click here and for Mac computers click here to access the download instructions. We recommend you download all files to a computer rather than a mobile device. Videos will be ready to play in iTunes (preferred), QuickTime, or Windows Media Player. Music files will be downloaded as .zip files, which you can extract and import into iTunes or other compatible music software of your choice. Please note: You are only able to download music files once.

No. PRO Team videos are instructional tools for you to learn from and are not authorized for public display. The moves included on the videos are new tools for you to learn and then teach your classes in person without the use of the video. Using a PRO Team video in any other way would violate the PRO Team Terms and Conditions and constitute copyright infringement.How often can I download a Round?
Videos can be downloaded as many times as you like while your PRO Team status is active. Music files can only be downloaded once. If you have any issues with your download, please contact Customer Service here for assistance.How do I print the items in my PRO Team marketing toolkit?
You can print the materials on your own printer or through our online if you would like to have them printed and delivered to you. All of the marketing materials are professionally designed, high-resolution files.Why is the initial payment equal to two months' charges?
The first payment covers your first two months of the PRO Team membership. For example, if you sign up on March 1, you will pay two months up front (March and April) and are not charged again until May 1, and then again on the 1st of each month thereafter until you cancel.Do I have to order new content each month once I'm enrolled in PRO Team?
No. Once you sign up for PRO Team, new Rounds with videos and music will be automatically delivered to your account for download every other month. Plus, each month you’ll also have access to additional exclusive PRO Team content such as Bonus Blocks, Mash-Up workouts, and teaching tips. All of this content will be available in your account automatically.What kind of discounts do I get if I'm a member of PRO Team?
As a PRO Team member, you receive a 10% discount on branded apparel. You can rejoin PRO Team at any time within 12 months of completing the Instructor Training, but each time you rejoin, you will need to sign up again as if you were a first-time member and follow the standard payment terms.What is the cancellation policy for PRO Team?
You may cancel your PRO Team membership at any time by calling Customer Service at 1 (888) 247-1940 from 6 AM to 6 PM PST Monday through Friday. When you cancel, you will be removed from PRO Team and not charged any further. Sorry, you will not receive a refund of any amounts you paid prior to the date you cancel your membership. If you decide to cancel, we recommended that you call and let us know at least five (5) business days before your billing date to ensure that you will not be billed for the next month. If you cancel and are later charged the next month’s fee, rest assured we will work to issue you a refund as soon as possible.Can I rejoin PRO Team later if I cancel?
Yes, you can rejoin PRO Team as long as your Instructor status is active, but each time you rejoin you will need to sign up as a new member. If your Instructor status has expired and you are not a PRO Team member, you will need to enroll in and successfully complete a Beachbody LIVE Instructor Training workshop before you can join PRO Team.What happens after my PRO Team membership has been cancelled?
If your PRO Team membership is cancelled for any reason, you must immediately notify any gyms or fitness facilities that you are no longer a PRO Team member. You must also immediately cease using or distributing all PRO Team materials. However, you will still be permitted to use your format's name ("INSANITY LIVE," "PiYo LIVE," "Turbo Kick LIVE," "Country Heat LIVE," "CIZE LIVE," and/or "P90X LIVE") and teach classes until your Instructor status expires in accordance with the Beachbody LIVE Instructor Terms and Conditions.How do I change my address or billing information on my PRO Team account?
